What is Invisible Character?
Invisible characters are characters, such as letters or numbers, that exist and take up space in digital text or computer code but have no visible representation or glyph. These characters are part of the Unicode standard and are used for a variety of purposes, such as formatting text, controlling line breaks, or defining specific types of spacing.
While the standard space character (U+0020) is the most common invisible character, the term also often includes other whitespace or nonprinting characters that may look like regular spaces (or not at all) but have different underlying codes and functions.
